Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me.

धीर, निश्छल, निष्पाप, कुटिलता रहित व्यक्ति ही आत्मा को जान पाता है, ब्रह्म को देख पाता है और मोक्ष प्राप्ति की ओर बढ़ पाता है। हम चाहे कितने ही व्रत करें, माला फेरें, पूजास्थलों में घंटियां बजाएं, माथा टेकें, लेकिन जब तक हम इस सच्चे आत्म-विज्ञान को नहीं समझ पाएंगे, तब तक सुख शांति और मोक्ष से दूर होते जाएंगे।

Philosophy of life

मनुष्य का शरीर एक रथ के समान है। जिन मार्गो पर यह रथ चलता है, वे संसार के पांच विषय मार्ग हैं। इंद्रियां घोड़े और मन लगाम हैं, जबकि बुद्धि सारथी है। इस रथ का स्वामी आत्मा है। आत्मा का बुद्धि, मन और इंद्रियों पर नियंत्रण होना चाहिए। इस प्रकार चलने वाला साधक अंतर्मुखी वृत्ति वाला बनता है। तब आत्मा बाहर का कार्य बंद करके अंदर का कार्य (आत्मसाक्षात्कार) प्रारंभ करती है
